Sliders for 2nd gen trucks in Canada
« on: October 10, 2009, 06:25:48 PM »

Anyone get sliders in Canada? I'm looking for a bolt on style for a double cab Trd Sport. Everything seems to be in or around the California area.

Just wondering where you get them at. If it's a link I would appreciate it being posted. Thanks!

If your close to the border get a PO Box and have them shipped there then go pick them up.

I'm in the same boat, looks like I might have to take it and order from the states.

Not close to the border so that won't work

Action Truck store isn't too great here. I had issues with ordering stuff from them in the past. I will check into them just to see.

I'll give Trail Gear a shot.

Thanks for all the responses guys!

Still no luck with any place >:(
Almost had a set of allpro but they aren't made for a double cab long bed. The guy at all pro said they would be 10" too short.

Seems no-one else wants my business. Won't ship to Canada, not made for double cab long bed, or won't answer my e-mails. So frustrating

Shrockworks sliders have about the best reviews for bolt-on sliders and they ship their Double Cab Long Bed sliders to Canada if you are willing to pay $190 for shipping. Even though I hate paying that much just for shipping I might eventually just have to give in as I'm picky and I'd rather pay an extra $200 for what I want then to settle with ones I don't like as much.

Trail-gear.ca is a Canadian company that makes sliders for Tacomas but they aren't bolt-on and I think they are ugly (that's just my opinion).

Thanks man. I email shrockworks last tuesday and still no response. I love the look of the sliders though. Maybe I'll have to call them.  $190 is a lot for shipping but I guess they are heavy and like you siad it is quality.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to give them a call. Hopefully they answer the phone becuase they didn't answer my email yet :)

Ordered on the 19th of October so the wait time is horrible

you'll like them, I have Shrockworks Sliders for my double cab and they work very VERY well.....I had mine Line-x for a nice finish that's not very slippery in the winter, good for kids.

Been a fan of Shrockworks, they can be tough to get a hold of sometimes, but they are a stand up bunch of guys there.

I can't find the paper work but 650CAN to my door rings a bell, I also bought them when the Can to US buck was really good.

Not 100 percent sure but I believe they were alittle over 750 cdn. I'll check when I get home.  I love the pics of them and really like how they bolt on.  I can't wait to get them
